Biography

Lorenz Karls made his debut with age 16 at the Mozartwoche Salzburg in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum Foundation followed by concerts with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra-, Lithuanian National Philharmonic Orchestra and Camerata Bern to name a few.

He has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, among them 7 top prizes from member competitions of “World Federation of Music Competitions” including both renowned international Mozart Competitions in Salzburg and Zuhai.

Lorenz is performing on the 1783 G.B Guadagnini “ex-Bachmann” violin.
